Buntong:The federal government has allocated RM200,000 to upgrade the Kampung Tersusun Jalan Sungai Pari Community Hall in Buntong.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ipoh Barat MP M. Kulasegaran announced that the upgrades are being managed by the Perak State Development Office. Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Institutional Reform) stated that the aim of these improvements is to provide more comfortable and conducive facilities for the local community.
In addition to this, a special contribution from Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has resulted in an allocation of RM50,000, which has been distributed to 10 Rukun Tetangga Areas (KRT) within the Ipoh Barat parliamentary constituency. This fund will support Bakul Rahmah distribution programs, assisting KRT community members in need and helping to alleviate their burdens.
The announcement was made during the launch of the MADANI Kita Programme (PMK) in Buntong, which aimed to attract about 2,000 visitors. The event featured 35 exhibition booths by government agencies and departments, and various goods were sold to the public at reasonable prices.
Kulasegaran highlighted that the PMK program not only brings government services closer to the community but also makes them more accessible and integrated. It serves as a platform for two-way interaction between the people and the government, enhancing understanding of government policies and initiatives. The program also seeks to strengthen cooperation among government agencies, communities, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.
The program promotes a spirit of togetherness, neighborliness, and volunteerism, contributing to the development of a community that not only benefits from development initiatives but also acts as a strategic partner to the government in building a prosperous society and harmonious nation.
