Johor bahru: Leading Chinese conglomerate Rianlon Corporation has expressed its commitment to invest RM820 million to develop a research and development (R and D) centre in Johor. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the investment after a meeting with Rianlon’s top executives.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting included discussions with Rianlon’s chairman and chief executive officer Li Haiping, as well as chief technology officer Sun Chunguang. The investment is expected to bolster technological advancements and strengthen ties between Malaysia and Chinese enterprises.
