Kuala lumpur: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president and Sungai Buloh Member of Parliament Datuk Seri R. Ramanan was at the Nomination Centre at the Seremban City Council Building (Wisma MBS) today to show support for six Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates contesting in the 16th Negeri Sembilan state election. He was accompanied by PH leaders, including DAP deputy secretary-general Steven Sim, in backing PH candidates Nor Azman Mohamad (Sikamat), Datuk Muhammad Nazri Kassim (Ampangan), Zarinna Abu Zarin (Lenggeng), Chew Seh Yong (Lobak), J. Arul Kumar (Nilai), and Ho Weng Wah (Temiang).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ramanan stated that the turnout of supporters and party machinery at the nomination centre reflected the strong spirit and commitment ahead of the state election. He emphasized their dedication to engaging with the public and working diligently throughout the campaign period. Ramanan highlighted the importance of the machinery's strength in every constituency, which he believed would drive efforts to ensure stability and the continuity of development in Negeri Sembilan.

The campaign period for the Negeri Sembilan state election began today following the completion of the nomination process and will continue until July 31. The 36-seat Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly was dissolved on June 5. The Election Commission (EC) has set July 28 for early voting and Aug 1 for polling day.
