Raja Muda Of Selangor, MACC Chief Commissioner Discuss Anti-corruption Initiatives

Bukit kiara: Efforts to strengthen the fight against corruption were among the matters discussed by Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MACC stated that the discussion occurred when Tengku Amir Shah granted an audience to Abd Halim at Istana Selangor, Bukit Kiara, last Monday. During this meeting, Tengku Amir Shah was briefed on the latest developments and ongoing initiatives, focusing particularly on anti-corruption efforts in Selangor.

Abd Halim expressed his appreciation to Tengku Amir Shah for both the audience and for receiving the briefing on the MACC's role and latest developments. "He (Abd Halim) also expressed his gratitude for the Raja Muda of Selangor's support and concern for ongoing efforts to combat corruption and uphold transparent, principled and accountable governance," the statement read.

The audience was part of Abd Halim's official engagements following his appointment as MACC Chief Commissioner on May 13.
