Raja Muda of Selangor and Wife Joyfully Welcome First Child, Tengku Alia Amira

Klang: The Raja Muda of Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, and his wife, Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz, have announced the birth of their first child, Tengku Alia Amira Tengku Amir Shah.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the announcement was made via a post on the Raja Muda of Selangor's official Instagram account. The post revealed that their daughter was born on July 21, 2026, at 2:56 pm. In the post, Tengku Amir Shah expressed gratitude to Allah SWT for the birth of their daughter, referring to her as their "princess." He also extended thanks to everyone who has prayed for their family, wishing for good health, blessings, and grace for their newborn.

Tengku Amir Shah and Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini were united in marriage during a royal solemnisation ceremony held at Masjid Istana Diraja, Istana Alam Shah, Klang, on October 2, 2025. The ceremony was officiated by Selangor Mufti Datuk Dr Anhar Opir and witnessed by Tengku Panglima Raja Selangor Tengku Ahmad Shah Alhaj and Tengku Indera Pahlawan Diraja Tengku Datuk Setia Putra Alhaj.

The event was conducted following royal customs and traditions and was attended by the Sultan of Selangor and Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin.
