According to BERNAMA News Agency, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim made these remarks while attending the Retreat for Press Secretaries and Heads of Corporate Communications. He highlighted the vital role these professionals play as the main link between the administration and society, ensuring that communication remains clear and effective.

During the event, notable attendees included Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Communications Ministry secretary-general Datuk Abdul Halim Hamzah. Prime Minister Anwar also advised press secretaries and corporate communications heads to stay vigilant and ready to respond to various forms of attacks by preparing firm arguments and sound justifications. He stressed that the country must be grounded in facts rather than sentiments that could cause harm.
