KUALA LUMPUR: The Port Dickson Polytechnic in Negeri Sembilan has been acknowledged as the best Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institution in the Asia Pacific region by the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi expressed significant pride in the platinum recognition, noting the prestige of APACC as a respected accreditation body in TVET across Asia Pacific. He emphasized that this accolade not only reflects the quality and excellence of education offered by the institution but also elevates its status to an international level.
Ahmad Zahid, who also serves as the National TVET Council chairman, expressed hope that the success of Port Dickson Polytechnic would motivate other TVET institutions in Malaysia to pursue innovation and strive for superior achievements. He highlighted that this accomplishment aligns with the national TVET agenda, which focuses on enhancing the q
uality of life for graduates and fostering a highly skilled society.
In a Facebook post, he extended his congratulations to Port Dickson Polytechnic, expressing pride in the institution’s achievement. He hoped that this recognition would serve as an inspiration to advance towards a more prosperous future, concluding with “Insya-Allah.”
