Port dickson: The Port Dickson District Police Headquarters (IPD) today disposed of various seized items, including bitcoin mining machines, contraband cigarettes and alcohol, gambling equipment, and electrical appliances, worth a total of RM999,300. Port Dickson police chief Supt Maslan Udin announced the disposal, which involved 194 investigation papers that were completed between 2020 and July 2025.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Supt Maslan Udin detailed the disposal methods, stating that the bitcoin mining machines are dismantled manually, while the contraband cigarettes are incinerated in a combustion chamber. These measures were revealed during the disposal exercise at the IPD compound.
He further explained that the disposal process was carried out by Pandamaran Jaya Motor, Port Klang. This company has been appointed under the Housing and Local Government Ministry to manage solid waste, in accordance with the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Act 2007, specifically for the disposal of government assets.
Maslan emphasized that this initiative underscores the police’s commitment to maintaining public trust by ensuring no compromise in the handling of case items.
