PolyCC Community Stands In Solidarity With Gaza, Backs Humanitarian Aid

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Politeknik Ungku Omar (PUO), in a statement, said the support was expressed through the 'Together to Rebuild Gaza' Humanitarian Hi-Tea Programme organised by MyCARE Perak here yesterday. PUO said the programme brought together individuals, government agencies, non-governmental organisations, and non-profit organisations committed to humanitarian efforts and providing assistance to the people of Gaza.

'The programme served as a platform to raise awareness and strengthen solidarity with the Palestinian people, while also encouraging continued support for humanitarian relief efforts in Gaza,' the statement said.

MyCARE Palestine general manager Dr Ziad M.M. Shehada, in his sharing session, conveyed the hopes of the Palestinian people to persevere and continue their lives, while also explaining the realities unfolding in Gaza following the prolonged humanitarian crisis.

MyCARE Malaysia chairman Datuk Seri Dr Kamal Nasharuddin Mustapha also shared his experiences and MyCARE's ongoing efforts to deliver aid to the people of Gaza, made possible through the support and solidarity of Malaysians.

PUO director Dr Salmi Che Meh was also present, representing the director-general of Polytechnic and Community College Education, together with directors and deputy directors of PolyCC institutions in Perak, as well as the PUO management team.

Meanwhile, Muafakat POLYCC is still providing an avenue for the entire PolyCC community to contribute to the humanitarian relief efforts through their respective institutions.
