Police Record Statements From 10 In Deaths Of Two Students

Ipoh: Police have recorded statements from 10 individuals to assist investigations into the deaths of two female students whose bodies were found at the Sungai Pari flats in Ipoh on July 24. Perak police chief Datuk Mohd Alwi Zainal Abidin stated that those questioned included the victims' friends and teachers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Mohd Alwi mentioned that the current information is limited, and so far, the investigation has not revealed any evidence of foul play. This statement was made during a press briefing at the Selama district police headquarters.

Several items belonging to the victims have been sent for forensic examination, but the police are still awaiting the results. Earlier reports revealed that the two 14-year-old students had left their school premises before being found unconscious at the location where they were later pronounced dead.
