Police Open Five Probes Into Alleged TH-related Commercial Crimes

Kuala lumpur: Police have opened five investigation papers after receiving nine reports from Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), its subsidiary, and members of the public over alleged commercial crimes, including matters raised in the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on TH. Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa stated that investigators have been actively recording statements from witnesses both in Malaysia and abroad and are in the process of obtaining relevant documents to complete the investigations.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa emphasized the police's commitment to ensuring each investigation is conducted independently, transparently, and professionally while adhering strictly to the law. "Anyone found to have committed a criminal offence will face appropriate action under the law," he stressed in a statement released today.

Rusdi further urged the public not to engage in speculation or spread unverified information, as it could mislead the public and potentially impact the ongoing investigations.
