Police Arrest Nine Bangladeshis In Gua Musang

Gua musang: Police arrested nine Bangladeshi nationals after they failed to produce valid passports and travel documents on Jalan Kuala Lipis-Gua Musang here, yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Gua Musang district police chief, Supt Sik Choon Foo, stated that the men were apprehended after the white Perodua Alza they were travelling in was found in a suspicious condition. They were detained by personnel from Bertam police station at about 11.30 am.

Further examinations revealed that all the individuals, aged between 20 and 30, did not possess valid passports or travel documents to validate their entry into Malaysia. The case will be investigated under Section 55E, Section 6(1)(C), and Section 15(1)(C) of the Immigration Act 1959/63 (Act 155).

The police are currently conducting investigations to determine the immigration status of the individuals involved and to identify any other parties associated with the activities.
