Kuala lumpur: Police have now arrested a tenth suspect in connection with an armed fight involving what is believed to be a machete, which occurred on Jalan Pekan Lukut on Dec 27. Port Dickson police chief Supt Maslan Udin said the final suspect was detained on Dec 29, following the arrest of nine other individuals after a public emergency call at 8.05 pm on the day of the fight.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the suspects are aged between 20 and 30 years old. Seven of them have prior criminal and drug abuse records. Supt Maslan Udin stated in a statement that six suspects will be charged tomorrow under Sections 326, 427, and 323 of the Penal Code, while the remaining four will serve as prosecution witnesses.

Earlier media reports stated that police had detained nine suspects in connection with the armed group fight on Jalan Pekan Lukut within 24 hours of the incident.
