PMR Facilitates Wider Reach for ‘Portal Manfaat’ to Enhance Access to Government Aid

Negeri sembilan: ‘Portal Manfaat’, an initiative by the Finance Ministry, is actively promoted to streamline public access to government assistance schemes, ensuring aid reaches those in need. The portal offers users updated information on government initiatives relevant to their needs and profiles, allowing them to apply for assistance efficiently.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ahmad Jefry Aziz, Executive Director of the Performance Acceleration Coordination Unit (PACU), reported approximately 2.1 million visitors accessed the portal from September 12, 2023. The portal enables small traders and single mothers, among others, to enter their details and receive information on available assistance quickly.

The Negeri Sembilan edition of the MADANI Rakyat Programme (PMR) 2025 serves as a platform to promote the portal. PMR provides PACU officers the opportunity to meet the public directly, offering clear explanations of the portal’s functions. This effort aligns with the MADANI Malaysia aspirations prioritizing inclusivity, compassion, and well-being.

Ahmad Jefry emphasized the portal’s continuous updates to address current needs and developments, a process overseen by the ‘Pantau MADANI’ unit. Meanwhile, Nur Nadia Zaris Zakaria, Assistant Director of the Management Services Section, noted that PACU’s booth at the Negeri Sembilan PMR drew visitors seeking information on eligible assistance, highlighting the significance of direct public engagement to raise awareness of ‘Portal Manfaat’.
