PM Anwar Pledges to Address Orang Asli Land Dispute with Pahang Government

Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has committed to addressing the land dispute issue involving the Orang Asli community of Kampung Sungai Cot, Maran, Pahang, with the state government.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar shared in a Facebook post that he had communicated via phone with representatives of the Orang Asli community, who had visited his residence earlier in the day. During the call, he listened to their concerns regarding the ongoing land dispute and the recent detention of three members of their community. Anwar expressed relief that the previously detained individuals had been released by the police.

The Prime Minister urged all parties involved not to exploit the issue but to work towards a fair and legal resolution.
