Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today opened the Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (KLIBF) 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL), here. His arrival at 10.30 am was greeted enthusiastically by thousands of visitors who had begun flooding the venue since early morning. Also present were Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abd Kadir and Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, at the event, the Prime Minister also launched the book "Membangun Masyarakat MADANI Versi Kartun" by cartoonist Zulkiflee SM Anwar Ulhaque, better known as Zunar. The work depicts efforts to combat corruption, reform administration, and strengthen the governance of the MADANI Government through cartoon illustrations that are easy to understand by all levels of society.

The 43rd edition of the KILBF this year will run for 10 days from today until June 7.
