Kuantan: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has donated cash and food baskets to a chronic diabetes patient struggling to raise his three children. His political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, presented the contributions to Luthfi Hasyim, a shopkeeper aged 50, at his home in Indera Mahkota 2, Kuantan, Pahang, today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Luthfi has been facing severe health challenges due to chronic diabetes, which resulted in the amputation of one of his legs. Despite these difficulties, Luthfi remains committed to fulfilling his responsibilities as the head of his family. Ahmad Farhan, in a Facebook post shared by Anwar, highlighted Luthfi’s strength and perseverance.
Ahmad Farhan further stated that Luthfi’s resilience serves as a reminder of the steadfastness individuals can exhibit for their families despite facing significant adversities. He expressed hopes for divine ease in Luthfi’s circumstances, saying, “May Allah make things easy for him and his family.”
