Kuantan: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended a contribution and a food basket to colon cancer patient Muhd Nir Izat Yaakob as a gesture of solidarity. The aid was presented by the Prime Minister’s political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, during a visit to Muhd Nir Izat’s residence at Taman Dato’ Rashid in Kuantan, Pahang.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi noted that Muhd Nir Izat appeared calm, strong, and occasionally smiled, reflecting his acceptance of this fate. He shared these observations in a Facebook post that was subsequently shared by the Prime Minister.

During the visit, Ahmad Farhan expressed his empathy by listening to the feelings and hopes of the cancer fighter. He also prayed for Allah SWT to grant healing, strength, and perseverance to Muhd Nir Izat and his family, emphasizing the importance of not leaving anyone to fight alone.
