Kuantan: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended assistance to a senior citizen struggling to make ends meet. The aid was delivered by the Prime Minister’s political secretary, Datuk Ahmad Farhan Fauzi, to 69-year-old V. Ramaiyeyah at his home in Taman Impianku, Sungai Lembing, Kuantan, Pahang recently.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, despite his age, Ramaiyeyah continues to persevere through life’s challenges. In his humble home, he greeted the visitors with a hopeful smile. His story is moving, as he is a single father who has sacrificed everything to sustain his livelihood, Ahmad Farhan shared in a Facebook post, which was also shared by the Prime Minister today.

On behalf of Anwar, Ahmad Farhan presented financial aid and a food basket to help ease the burden of the elderly man. As Ramaiyeyah received the aid, his expression conveyed gratitude that words could hardly capture. Ahmad Farhan added that he prays Uncle Ramaiyeyah is blessed with strength and good health as he continues his journey through life.
