PM Anwar Engages with Tawau Community Through Multiple Programs

Tawau: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has embarked on a working visit to Tawau, where he is scheduled to participate in three significant programs aimed at engaging with the local community.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Prime Minister’s itinerary commenced with the inauguration of a new block at Tawau Hospital at 9.30 am. This event marks a substantial development in the region’s healthcare infrastructure, demonstrating the government’s commitment to enhancing public health services.

Following the hospital visit, Anwar is set to connect with the local populace through a walkabout and meet-and-greet session at Pasar Semarak around 11.15 am. This engagement offers the Prime Minister an opportunity to interact directly with residents, addressing their concerns and fostering community relations.

Concluding his visit, Anwar will officially launch the ‘Jelajah Malaysia’ Programme at Taman Semarak, scheduled to begin at approximately 11.35 am. This program aims to promote national unity and cultural exchange within the community, underscoring the government’s efforts to strengthen ties across diverse regions of the country.
