Sarawak: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today attended a Special Divisional Development Meeting at the Satria Pertiwi Complex here. Also present were Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Sabah and Sarawak Affairs) Datuk Mustapha Sakmud, and members of the Sarawak Cabinet.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting, which lasted about an hour, was part of the Prime Minister's working visits to each state. The aim was to hold direct discussions with local leadership on development projects and the welfare of the people. It served as a platform to coordinate planning between the Federal Government and the state government, while reviewing current issues that require attention and immediate action.

Following the meeting, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the Sukma Ria Ramadan Bazaar and attend the Sarawak-level MADANI 2026 Iftar event at the Sarawak State Jamek Mosque tonight.
