Serdang: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today congratulated all recipients of the national-level Maulidur Rasul 1448H/2026 Awards.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar extended his congratulations to Westar Group founder and managing director Tan Sri Dr Syed Azman Syed Ibrahim, who was named the Tokoh Perdana Maulidur Rasul for 1448H/2026. He also congratulated the other recipients, including Maulana Abdul Hamid Chin, Tan Sri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Laman Yasim, Datuk Dr Ahmad Parveez Ghulam Kadir, Muhammad Mikhael Sathayah, Ahmad Fahmi Mohd Samsudin, and Prof Dr Ruzita Mohd Amin.

Earlier, Anwar presented the awards at the national-level Maulidur Rasul Celebration held at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Serdang. Ayob Khan received the National Hero Figure Award, while Abdul Hamid was recognised with the Religious Figure Award. Ruzita received the Wanita MADANI Figure Award, and Ahmad Parveez was awarded the Scientist/Creative Innovator Figure Award. Ahmad Fahmi received the Promising Youth Figure Award, Laman was honoured as the Exemplary Family Figure, and social media influencer Muhammad Mikhael Sathayah received the Special Figure Award (Outstanding New Convert).
