Kuala lumpur: The PKR Central Leadership Council (MPP) held a special meeting here today to review preliminary findings from its post-mortem of the 17th Sabah State Election. PKR information chief Datuk Fahmi Fadzil stated that the meeting also discussed issues related to the performance of seats contested by Pakatan Harapan.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized that the process of gathering views and findings will continue, with follow-up actions to be examined at the next MPP meeting. He noted this in a statement issued after the special meeting.
Fahmi, who also serves as the Communications Minister, mentioned that the MPP meeting received a briefing from Prime Minister and PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim regarding several recent economic measures. These measures include the increase in the e-invoice threshold and the acceleration of tax overpayment repayments.
The special meeting commenced around 5 pm and concluded two hours later. Attendees included Fahmi, PKR vice-president and Deputy Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Seri R. Ramanan, and Deputy Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir, who is also an MPP member.
