PHB Enters Strategic Partnerships With Gentari Green Mobility and GreenRE for Sustainability Initiatives

Kuala lumpur: Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (PHB) has signed memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with Gentari Green Mobility Sdn Bhd and GreenRE Sdn Bhd to accelerate the adoption of green mobility and sustainable building practices across its property portfolio.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the collaboration with Gentari Green Mobility aims to support the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure while exploring renewable energy and energy storage solutions at PHB properties. The partnership with GreenRE focuses on facilitating the adoption of recognised green building standards and obtaining GreenRE certification for PHB-owned assets.

PHB group managing director Mazuki Abdullah @ Muhammad stated that the collaboration underscores the company's commitment to integrating sustainability into its core business practices. "By working closely with Gentari Green Mobility and GreenRE, we are accelerating our transition towards cleaner energy, enhancing the environmental performance of our assets, and contributing meaningfully to the nation's sustainability and decarbonisation goals," he said.

These initiatives support PHB's Energy Roadmap 2024-2030, which aims to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy solutions, enhance organisational capabilities, and strengthen stakeholder engagement in sustainable energy practices. "These efforts are aligned with our Energy Roadmap 2024-2030 and our broader Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) aspirations to create long-term value for our stakeholders. For PHB, sustainability is no longer an aspiration; it is becoming an integral part of how we invest, manage, and future-proof our assets," Mazuki added.

During the signing ceremony, PHB received Sustainable Energy Low Carbon Building Assessment GreenPASS (Operation) certificates from the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA) Malaysia for Dataran PHB, Menara Aras Raya, Quill 18, and Wisma Consplant 1 and 2.
