PH Commits to Integrity in Election Campaign Strategy

Melaka: Pakatan Harapan (PH) will not exploit the weaknesses or internal problems of other parties in facing the upcoming state and general elections. Melaka PKR strategy director Mohd Radzmin Roslan emphasized that although situations affecting the opposing parties might provide a slight advantage in terms of perception and support, true success still depends on the internal strength of the party and its ability to offer the best service to the people.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Radzmin stated, "Division within or problems from other parties may have a slight impact, but we cannot rely on that. The foundation of our strength is our work on the ground and unity within the party." He stressed the importance of engaging with the grassroots to understand and address the people's needs, which is fundamental to building confidence and securing votes.

He highlighted that the primary focus is on strengthening unity among PH component parties, optimizing the election machinery, and ensuring mature and prudent seat negotiations at the leadership level. In terms of campaign strategy, PH plans to prioritize issues relevant to the people, particularly the cost of living, job opportunities, and community welfare.

Moreover, Mohd Radzmin pointed out that young voters and fence-sitters are the main target groups for the upcoming elections. He mentioned the importance of reaching out to young voters, including those in the Undi 18 group, with a fresh approach and a clear message. Similarly, addressing the concerns of fence-sitters by showcasing performance and sincerity is crucial for PH's strategy.
