Penang:The Penang State Legislative Assembly observed a moment of silence today in memory of former Telok Bahang assemblyman Ahmad Radhi Pachee, who passed away on September 22 at the age of 95.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the tribute recognized the late assemblyman's service and contributions during his tenure as Telok Bahang representative from 1978 to 1982.
Before the assembly proceedings commenced, Penang Assembly Speaker Datuk Seri Law Choo Kian requested all those present to stand and observe the moment of silence. The second meeting of the fourth session of the 15th Penang State Legislative Assembly, which began today, is set to address 74 oral questions, 798 written questions, two motions, and five bills.
Additionally, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow is scheduled to present the state's Budget 2027 at 3 pm today.
