Papa Zola The Movie Set for South Korean Cinematic Debut

Seoul: The animated film Papa Zola The Movie will be released in cinemas across South Korea from Sept 2, MONSTA announced today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the achievement is significant, as it reflects international distributors' confidence in the company's work and the Malaysian values and culture it showcases. MONSTA media director Faiz Zainal Aabidin expressed gratitude for the confidence shown by South Korean distributors and cinemas in the film, as well as their decision to introduce it to local audiences.

Faiz Zainal Aabidin stated, 'For us, this confidence represents not only an opportunity to introduce Malaysian animation to a wider audience, but also recognition that our stories can resonate with audiences across cultures and borders.' This release marks MONSTA's second film to enter the South Korean market, following the debut of BoBoiBoy The Movie in 2016.

The film is set to entertain South Korean audiences with its blend of action, adventure, and humour. Faiz added, 'From 'Papa' to 'Oppa', Papa Zola is ready to greet audiences in South Korea with action, adventure and humour that will entertain and delight them.'

Following its release in South Korea, Papa Zola The Movie is scheduled to be shown in several other markets, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait on Sept 23, before expanding to Australia, New Zealand, and India.
