‘Papa Zola The Movie’ Returns For Special Father’s Day Screenings From June 11

Kuala lumpur: After creating a phenomenon by grossing over RM69 million, Malaysia's number one animated film, 'Papa Zola The Movie', returns to the cinemas with special screenings in celebration of Father's Day 2026. The special screenings will be shown at nearly 50 selected major cinemas nationwide from June 11 to 30.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MONSTA stated that the screenings give audiences a chance to enjoy once again the laughter, emotion, and family moments that made the film so endearing to Malaysians. The special run comes in a version with additional content for fans, including an extension of a frequently discussed question on social media regarding the character Otoi and his emergence from the simulation world in one of the original film's key scenes.

Additionally, this version also features extra scenes involving BoBoiBoy and Gopal, adding value for loyal fans while also allowing new audiences to enjoy the film. To make the screenings more meaningful, fans will also receive exclusive 'Papa Zola The Movie' cards as special collectibles. This initiative not only celebrates fans but also encourages audiences to bring their fathers and other loved ones to enjoy the film together at the cinema.

Meanwhile, MONSTA's chief executive officer, the film's director and writer, Nizam Abd Razak, expressed that 'Papa Zola The Movie' has always stayed close to audiences' hearts, not just as an adventure comedy, but as a story that uplifts family bonds and a father's love. "In celebration of Father's Day, we want to give audiences the chance to relive this film at the cinema with their loved ones. This time, the special screening comes with extra content and special surprises for fans," he said.
