Johor bahru: Pakatan Harapan (PH) will hold the Pakatan Harapan 2026 Convention themed "Tekad Madani, Harapan Rakyat" at Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru on May 17.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the coalition leadership released a joint statement announcing that the convention will take place from 8 am to 6 pm. It will serve as a platform to strengthen leadership and organisational cohesion, coordinate political work, and outline PH's direction in addressing the country's current challenges.

"As the leader of the MADANI Government, PH continues to focus on strengthening the country's economy, political stability and people's confidence ahead of the state elections and the 16th general election (GE16)," the statement said.

The statement also mentioned that Prime Minister and PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to deliver a special message to delegates at the convention. Key leaders of the coalition are also expected to attend, aiming to reinforce unity and readiness to face current political challenges.

The PH Convention was last held in 2022, and its reorganisation reflects the coalition's ongoing commitment to strengthening its organisation, empowering the reform agenda, and ensuring that the aspirations of the MADANI Government continue to be implemented for the benefit of the people.
