Pahang Sultan Grants Audience To MACC Chief Commissioner

Ampang: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, granted an audience to Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman at Shahzan House in Ampang here yesterday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MACC stated that Al-Sultan Abdullah received a briefing on the commission's latest developments during the hour-long audience. The commission presented various matters related to efforts to strengthen integrity and combat corruption in the country.

The meeting also touched on current issues concerning governance, corruption prevention, and initiatives undertaken by the MACC to enhance public confidence in the enforcement agency, the commission said in a statement today.

Meanwhile, Abd Halim expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for granting the audience and taking the time to receive a briefing on the role and current developments of the MACC. He conveyed his appreciation for Al-Sultan Abdullah's support and concern for the commission's ongoing efforts to combat corruption and uphold transparent, accountable, and integrity-based governance in the country.
