Op Hari Raya 2025: JPJ To Monitor Over 15 Hotspots In Kelantan

Kota Bharu: The Road Transport Department (JPJ) will monitor more than 15 hotspots throughout Kelantan under the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Op (Op HRA) 2025 from March 24 to April 8. Kelantan JPJ director Mohd Misuari Abdullah stated that the operation would target several accident-prone Federal roads, including those in Gua Musang, Kuala Krai, Pasir Puteh, Machang, and Jeli.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the operation anticipates more than two million vehicles entering Kelantan for the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. JPJ personnel, in collaboration with other security agencies such as the police, will conduct patrols to ensure smooth traffic flow. Starting today and continuing until April 8, the department has also implemented the ‘amber light’ warning signal at various locations statewide.

During the state-level HRA Ops 2025 Engagement Session and Launch Ceremony at the JPJ Enforcement Station in Bukit Rawa, Mohd Misuari shared these details with reporters. The event was also attended by JPJ deputy director-general (Planning and Operations) Datuk Jazmanie Shafawi.

Jazmanie emphasized that JPJ would persist with its undercover technique throughout Op HRA 2025 to curb traffic violations involving public transport. He urged all drivers to adhere to the stipulated rules to maintain road safety, especially during the Aidilfitri period.
