SHAH ALAM: State Investment, Trade and Mobility Committee chairman Ng Sze Han has been elected as the new chairman of Selangor DAP for the 2024-2027 term. He replaces Digital Minister and Damansara MP Gobind Singh Deo.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ng, who is the Kinrara assemblyman, was chosen from the newly elected 15-member executive committee during the state committee election. The election took place in conjunction with the 2024 Selangor DAP convention at the IDCC Convention Centre.

Ng previously served as the state party secretary in the last term. Klang MP V. Ganabatirau was elected as deputy chairman. Meanwhile, Sekinchan assemblyman and State Local Government and Tourism Committee chairman Datuk Ng Suee Lim, along with Ean Yong Hian Wah, have been appointed as vice-chairmen.

Puchong MP Yeo Bee Yin has been elected as the new Selangor DAP Secretary. The complete lineup of the 2024-2027 Selangor DAP Committee includes Leong Tuck Chee as Assistant Secretary, Jamaliah Jamaluddin as Treasurer, and
R. Rajiv as Assistant Treasurer. Tiew Way Keng will serve as the Organising Secretary, with V. Papparaidu and Lee Fu Haw as Assistant Organising Secretaries. Wong Siew Ki has been appointed Publicity Secretary, while Syahredzan Johan will be the Director of Political Education. State Committee Members include Ong Chun Wei and Michelle Ng Mei Sze.
