Kuala lumpur: The second round of negotiations on Sabah's 40 per cent revenue entitlement is anticipated to occur within the next one to two weeks, as stated by Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the meeting will include Treasury secretary-general Datuk Johan Mahmood Merican and Sabah State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong. This gathering is a continuation of the preliminary discussions that were initiated in November.
Fahmi further elaborated during a post-Cabinet meeting press conference that the Cabinet had reviewed the status of the implementation of Sabah's 40 per cent revenue entitlement. He confirmed that discussions had taken place multiple times within a 90-day period, as verified by the Treasury secretary-general.
