Tawau: New Tawau district police chief ACP Rosdi Mat Jusoh has pledged to continue the legacy of excellence established by his predecessor, in line with the aspirations of the Royal Malaysia Police top leadership.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Rosdi, who previously served as Sabah Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief, said the position entrusted to him was a great responsibility that must be carried out with sincerity and a strong sense of duty. "I arrived at the Tawau District Police Headquarters (IPD) with great respect for the journey undertaken by the previous leadership. Efforts to strengthen IPD Tawau will continue in appreciation of the strong foundation built by the late former district police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin," he said in a statement today.
Yesterday, Rosdi officially took over duties from Acting Supt Wilynton Enchana Watt. The ceremony also witnessed Rosdi receiving his promotion to Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) at the Tawau IPD, in the presence of Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun.
In the same statement, Jauteh expressed confidence in Rosdi's ability to lead the district police administration towards greater heights. He also paid tribute to Jasmin, describing him as a dedicated officer with high integrity and strong commitment to public safety.
