Kuala lumpur: The Ministry of National Unity through the National Library of Malaysia (PNM), today introduced two digital service initiatives, namely the Quickbook2U@PNM system and the Rental Space Booking Management System (QuickKarel), to facilitate public access to reading materials and library facilities.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the initiatives are in line with the MADANI Government's aspiration to simplify public dealings, cultivate a knowledge-based society, and enhance access to reading materials and library services. The Quickbook2U@PNM allows users to book books online without having to physically visit the library, while also offering direct delivery to users' locations.
The ministry stated that QuickKarel is a digital platform designed to enable the public to book rental spaces online in a faster, more systematic, and efficient manner. This initiative is a part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to streamline service delivery and expand digital access.
National Unity Minister Datuk Aaron Ago Dagang emphasized that both systems reflect the ministry's continuous commitment to modernising service delivery to the public. The initiatives aim to strengthen digital innovation and broaden access to knowledge and library facilities, aligning with the government's broader goals.
