Kuala lumpur: Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) is introducing a special promotional fare for KLIA Transit in celebration of the 69th National Day. The promotion aims to facilitate public transportation to several events in Putrajaya, notably the 2026 National Day Parade.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, passengers can avail a 50 percent discount on return tickets for KLIA Transit from any station to the Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Station. However, the discounted fare is not applicable for journeys to KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. The promotional fare is available to both adults and children aged 6 to 15, with travel dates spanning from August 29 to 31. Tickets must be purchased through the KLIA Ekspres mobile app or the official website starting from August 26 until 31.

Children aged five and below can travel for free on KLIA Transit, provided they are accompanied by an adult with a purchased ticket, with a maximum allowance of three children per adult passenger. To further celebrate National Day, ERL will distribute exclusive Merdeka Packs to the first 200 passengers arriving at Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Station on August 31.

From Putrajaya Sentral, passengers will benefit from a free shuttle bus service offered by Prasarana and Perbadanan Putrajaya, enabling convenient travel to various event sites around Putrajaya. In addition to the National Day parade on August 31, visitors can also enjoy the full-dress rehearsal on August 29, alongside other Merdeka-themed attractions such as Riuh Merdeka and the Ambang Merdeka 2026 celebration.
