Seremban: Pakatan Harapan's (PH) manifesto for the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election focuses on deliverable promises rather than political rhetoric, said state coalition chairman Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. Aminuddin, who is also the Menteri Besar, emphasized that the manifesto was based on PH's eight years in office in the state, aiming to continue and enhance existing initiatives over the next five years.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Aminuddin highlighted that the focus for the next five years is ensuring the plans become a reality, aiming to build a strong foundation for Negeri Sembilan to benefit future generations. He made these remarks at a press conference after launching the PH manifesto for the upcoming state election.

Earlier, Aminuddin, who is contesting the Linggi state seat, introduced the coalition manifesto themed 'Negeri Sembilan Kekal Harapan' (Negeri Sembilan Stays With Harapan), outlining 10 key commitments. He noted that during PH's administration, nearly all previous manifesto pledges were fulfilled, with the exception of a proposed state legislation amendment that was not passed before the State Legislative Assembly's dissolution on June 5.

Aminuddin, who serves as the state PKR chairman, urged all PH candidates to use the manifesto as their primary campaign guide. He encouraged candidates to focus on explaining the coalition's pledges to voters rather than engaging in political rhetoric or attacks. He stated, "I will make sure they read it every day, understand it, and explain to the people what we intend to do. We should not resort to slander, quarrels, or unnecessary issues."

As the election approaches, the Election Commission (EC) has set July 28 for early voting in the Negeri Sembilan state election, with polling day scheduled for August 1.
