Sikamat: MTD Group (MTD Capital Berhad), along with its property subsidiary, MTD Properties, donated two cows to Masjid Dato' Klana Petra Lela Mohd Yusof in Sikamat in celebration of this year's Aidiladha.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MTD Group CEO Reime Rizal Abdul Aziz stated that Negeri Sembilan was chosen for this year's Aidiladha contribution programme as it serves as a symbolic prelude to the imminent launch of MTD Properties' development project in Ampangan. He emphasized that the Aidiladha contribution is an annual initiative by MTD Group. In the past, MTD Properties has conducted similar programmes at its developments in Ayer Keroh, Melaka, and Taman Sutera, Kajang, Selangor. This marks the first time Negeri Sembilan has been selected, signifying the entry of MTD Properties' development in the state.

Reime Rizal expressed gratitude for the ability to donate two cows to the Sikamat community, highlighting that the contribution is intended to bless and benefit recipients while enhancing community ties. The mock cheque was presented to mosque chairman Ustaz Muhammad Ainur Robanni Nasoha.

Reime Rizal also mentioned that this initiative marks the beginning of MTD Properties' long-term community engagement efforts through an industrial and commercial development on a 23.06-hectare site. The project, called the 'MTD Ampangan Industrial Hub,' is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year, executed in four phases, and boasts an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM410 million.

The CEO noted that the development is anticipated to generate job opportunities and spur local economic growth, especially in Ampangan, which is a significant economic growth area. He further added that the industrial hub's development aligns with the goals of the Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0) corridor.
