Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA) reinforced its initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle among its fraternity by organising the Takaful4All Inter-TO Futsal Tournament 2026 at World of Sport here today. MTA chief executive officer Mohd Radzuan Mohamed said apart from encouraging physical wellness, the tournament aimed to foster closer rapport between takaful agents and operators.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Mohd Radzuan Mohamed expressed that their hope is to show everyone that financial protection comes second and living a healthy lifestyle comes first. He conveyed this message to reporters after officiating the event. The fourth edition of the tournament was jointly officiated by Mohd Radzuan and Prudential BSN Takaful chief development officer Abdul Rahman Mansor, featuring participation from MTA member companies.
Mohd Radzuan added the MTA also plans to expand industry activities across several states so events are not solely concentrated at the central level. He mentioned that in addition to futsal, the MTA organises other sporting events such as bowling and plans to introduce pickleball this year as part of ongoing efforts to embed a healthy living culture within the takaful industry.
Earlier, the tournament saw the participation of 19 men's teams and six women's teams. In the men's category, Etiqa emerged as champions, while FWD Gladiators took second place and Prustar finished third.
