Tanah merah: Construction work on the Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) Ulul Albab in Tanah Merah is expected to begin early next year, announced Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) chairman Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the MARA management has been given a two-week deadline to finalize all necessary documents before submitting them to the Kelantan State Secretary's Office and the Tanah Merah District and Land Office. This step is crucial ahead of a meeting planned for this September.

Dr. Asyraf emphasized that the construction of MRSM Ulul Albab Tanah Merah has been a significant agenda for the Tanah Merah UMNO Division. "If approval is obtained this September, we will open the tender publicly this December, and construction work on the MRSM is expected to begin before April next year," he stated during his speech at the Tanah Merah UMNO Division delegates' meeting at Dataran Mahsari.

The upcoming MRSM Ulul Albab will be the first of its kind in Kelantan, fully based on the Ulul Albab concept, and is designed to accommodate up to 750 students. This initiative follows an application submitted by the Tanah Merah UMNO Division, which received support from Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
