Kuala lumpur: The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) is actively engaging with ground vehicle operators and B20 biodiesel suppliers to incorporate B20 biodiesel into operations at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) has expressed intentions to broaden the B20 biodiesel initiative beyond KLIA, targeting ground service vehicles at other airports, including Senai International Airport in Johor. This expansion is contingent upon the outcomes of the KLIA pilot project, securing necessary funding, and ensuring that the required infrastructure and logistics are available at the respective airports.
The ministry's response was directed towards a query from Datuk Iskandar Dzulkarnain Abdul Khalid (Kuala Kangsar) regarding the strategic plans for proliferating the B20 palm biodiesel blend usage across Malaysian airports.
