Kangar: Kangar Municipal Council (MPKangar) has assured that all issues regarding the resumption of the Smart Parking system will be fully resolved by Aug 1. MPKangar president Affendi Rajini Kanth stated that the improvement measures were part of the council’s commitment to ensuring that residents can go about their daily lives comfortably and without disruptions.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Affendi mentioned that while the issues with the parking system were minimal, solutions have been identified. He assured that the system would operate more smoothly from August. Should any inefficiencies arise, the responsible company has pledged to address them promptly, he noted during a townhall session.

Affendi also emphasized the council’s ongoing promise to address any complaints within 24 hours as part of its commitment to enhancing public service quality. He encouraged feedback from all parties, acknowledging that there is always room for improvement and welcoming criticism and suggestions to facilitate ongoing enhancements.

The smart parking system, which commenced operations in mid-June this year, was suspended for six months due to public complaints, prompting these planned improvements.
