Motorcyclist Dies After Collision with Dog in Kampar

Kampar: A factory worker tragically lost his life after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a dog, leading to a fatal accident on Jalan Malim Nawar-Kota Bharu, Kampar, early this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kampar district police chief Supt Mohamad Nazri Daud reported that the incident occurred at 7:35 am, resulting in the victim, Mohd Safaril Mohamed Anuar, 42, sustaining severe injuries and dying at the scene. The police chief explained that the victim was traveling from his home to work at Hume Cement in Kota Bharu when the accident happened.

The statement revealed that as Mohd Safaril approached the location, his motorcycle struck a dog that was crossing the road, causing him to skid and lose control. The impact left the Honda EX5 damaged, particularly the front mudguard and left front coverset. Authorities have not made any arrests in connection with the incident.

The body of the deceased has been transported to Kampar Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The case is currently under investigation, filed under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
