Sibu:The Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) is considering collaborations and providing support to organisers of international events in Malaysia, with a particular focus on those encountering financial difficulties.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing stated that this initiative aims to encourage more international events to be held in Malaysia and to increase participation from abroad. The ministry's goal is to enhance Malaysia's international presence by hosting events that draw participants from multiple countries.

The minister highlighted that such events could attract more visitors and serve as a platform for both local and international participants to exchange knowledge, experiences, and skills. He expressed hope that the next year's International Archery Coaching and Wellness Forum and Workshop could expand to include more participating countries.

Tiong also mentioned that the ministry is exploring various forms of collaboration and assistance to help organisers overcome financial challenges.
