MESF Urges National MLBB Squad to Prepare for Asian Games

Kuala lumpur: Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF) president Muhammad Naim Al-Amin has called on the national Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team to maintain their winning momentum and focus on competing in the Asian Games in Aichi, Nagoya, Japan, next year. Emphasizing the need for sustained momentum, he highlighted the importance of increasing the players' maturity and chemistry to ensure consistency.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the national MLBB squad concluded their SEA Games campaign with commendable success, returning home with one gold and one silver. The women's team secured the gold medal after a challenging 4-3 victory over the Philippines, while the men's team achieved a silver medal after a 4-0 loss to the Philippines in the final.

National women's MLBB team captain Sharifah Alia Husna Syed Fakrurrozi expressed that the victory has bolstered the team's confidence. However, she believes that their performance can reach greater heights with more preparation time. She encouraged women MLBB players to be persistent and bold in showcasing their talents by participating in tournaments, stressing the need for more women players in Malaysia.

National men's MLBB team captain Idreen Abdul Jamal expressed satisfaction with the team's efforts but acknowledged areas for improvement, particularly in decision-making speed during games. He noted that competing against stronger teams provided valuable lessons, especially in player rotation and making quick decisions under pressure.
