Accra:The inaugural Muslim Estate Agent Career Achievement Recognition (MECAR) Awards 2026, organized by the Malaysian Association of Muslim Real Estate Negotiators (PEHAM), honored thirteen Muslim real estate negotiators for their outstanding contributions to the industry.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, PEHAM president Idzwan Izzuddin Shah Ishak emphasized that the awards recognize more than just individual achievements. They highlight the dedication, integrity, and professionalism of Muslim real estate negotiators. At the event, he stated that the awards aim to foster a culture that appreciates the hard work of these professionals.
Idzwan Izzuddin Shah underscored the importance of collaboration among industry stakeholders, including PEHAM and the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP). He noted that such partnerships are crucial for the development of the industry and for maintaining high professional standards. This is achieved through initiatives such as Continuing Professional Development (CPD), the Negotiator Certification Course (NCC), and the Real Estate Negotiator Renewal Programme (RRP).
He also expressed hope that the MECAR Awards would continue annually to inspire future generations of Muslim real estate negotiators.
The event recognized Mohammad Badrul Hisyam Roslan of Renstar Properties International as the top achiever in the Top 10 Muslim REN Malaysia 2026 category. Nursyahirah Noridan of Legacy Real Property and Mohd Yasser Ibrahim of ERA Realtor secured second and third places, respectively. In the Top Influencer REN 2026 category, Nurrul Syazana Md Jaffary of Legacy Real Property and Muhammad Al Syauqi Mohd Al Atar of Maxxan Realty were also acknowledged.
Additionally, Professional Property Manager (PMgr) Ishak Ismail received the Inspirational Figure Award 2026 for his significant contributions to the community and the real estate consultancy sector.
The MECAR Awards 2026 gathered over 300 participants from nearly 30 real estate agencies, with support from strategic partners like LPEPH, Aqielah, Baskaran and Co, Qarliff and Associates, Nik Safia and Co, and Khamdan and Co.
