Matrix Concepts Supports New SJKT Ladang Labu Bahagian 4 Development

Matrix concepts: Matrix Concepts Holdings Berhad (Matrix Concepts) is contributing 50 per cent of the total project cost for phase one of the relocation and development of the new SJK(T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4, here. Its co-chief executive officer, Tan Sze Chee, said construction for phase one is targeted for completion by October 2027, with an estimated development cost of approximately RM8.9 million.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the proposed collaboration is expected to feature a four-storey academic block with 12 classrooms, science and computer rooms, a library, preschool facilities, administrative offices, a multipurpose hall, a canteen, a school field, a guardhouse, and other supporting educational amenities. Tan Sze Chee expressed delight in supporting the relocation of the school from its early beginnings within a small estate community to a larger and more conducive environment. She emphasized the belief that meaningful townships are built not only through infrastructure but also through the strength of the communities and institutions within them, with education being a key pillar in shaping future generations.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC) between Matrix Concepts and the Board of Governors of SJK(T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4, Labu, was witnessed by Negeri Sembilan state executive councillor for local government development, housing and transport, J. Arul Kumar, and Matrix Concepts founder and group executive deputy chairman, Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock.

According to Tan, this collaboration signifies a commitment to support the proposed relocation and development of the school, aimed at providing a more conducive and future-ready learning environment for students. Currently operating with approximately 20 students, the school is expected to accommodate a larger student population following the completion of the new campus. The development will be supported by the area's existing surrounding communities and the anticipated growth and population expansion from the upcoming Malaysia Vision Valley (MVV) City developments over the next two to three years.

Tan further noted that with the relocation and development of a new campus in a more suitable location, the school's capacity can be expanded to accommodate a larger number of students in the future. This will create greater opportunities for children in the surrounding areas to access education in a more comfortable, safe, and conducive learning environment.
