Kuala Lumpur: Life insurer Manulife Insurance Bhd has introduced a new medical plan, Manulife Health Saver Enrich (MHSE), aimed at providing end-to-end healthcare coverage from prevention to recovery.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Manulife stated that the plan covers preventive care such as vaccinations for dengue, influenza, cervical cancer, and pneumococcal disease. It also includes outpatient and inpatient treatment, along with post-treatment follow-up, including cancer screening.
The plan features an industry-leading no claims discount (NCD) of up to 40 percent on the medical cost of insurance, with a continuously tiered lower if claims are made during the insured period. Additionally, there are flexible options and dynamic pricing according to the level of coverage needed. NCD refers to a discount on insurance premiums granted to policyholders who do not make any claims during a specified period.
Manulife’s chief executive officer, Vibha Coburn, expressed the company’s satisfaction in introducing a plan that supports customers’ holistic medical needs. She stated, “Our goal is to provide long-term protection, value, and peace of mind to our customers and their families, so they can focus on what truly matters – living a healthy, fulfilling life.”
The company also announced a limited-time MHSE Guaranteed Conversion Program, which allows existing policyholders of selected Manulife medical products to convert to MHSE without medical underwriting. This program is available from April 11 to September 30, 2025. Further details on the MHSE plan are available on Manulife’s website or through its authorized representatives.
