Kampar: A 57-year-old man tragically lost his life after slipping into a well while attempting to collect water in Kampung Nyior, Kampar. The unfortunate incident was reported to have occurred today.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Perak Fire and Rescue Department Operations Division assistant director Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad stated that they received an alert about the incident at 7.52 am. Upon reaching the location, firemen discovered that the man had fallen into a well approximately three metres deep.

Rescue personnel employed a rope system (1:2) to lift the victim to the surface. Despite their efforts, the man was pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel who were present at the scene, Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad confirmed in a statement.
