Penang: A man who confessed to the murder of his wife at an apartment in Jalan Tuna Seberang Jaya has reportedly done so out of jealousy, who turned himself in to the police on Thursday, is currently under investigation.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Penang police chief Datuk Azizee Ismail stated that the suspect, aged 28, admitted to the crime. However, the police are continuing their investigation due to the suspect’s behavior of living with his deceased wife for several days, which has raised further questions.

Datuk Azizee also revealed that the suspect tested negative for drugs. With the arrest of the unemployed man, authorities believe they have solved the case. The suspect is currently remanded in custody until December 18, as investigations proceed under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
